Ashtray, Used Gift Card, Pet Hamster Among The Worst Valentine’s Day Gifts
There are many ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day, but whatever you do, don’t give any of these “gifts” to your loved one.
Dating.com released its annual list of the worst Valentine’s Day gifts this week and the results are amazing. The 2020 list included things like a used candle and a bad holiday-themed card, but believe it or not, it wasn’t even the worst.
Dating.com recently surveyed its users to find that 78% of people received gifts they didn’t really appreciate.
Surprising Giveaways Included: Wilted Flowers, No Picture Frame, Pet Hamster, Unopened Matching Halloween Candy Bag, Valentine’s Day Themed Socks, Session Membership online workout, an ashtray, a used gift card, an open bottle of wine or liquor and an old VHS movie.
“Valentine’s Day is a holiday where couples re-enter the honeymoon phase of their relationship by spending the whole day showering each other with love and gifts,” says Maria Sullivan, Dating Expert and Vice President of Dating .com.
